I Do Indeed!

Yep, I'm that crazy, pie in the sky, dancing on moonbeams, little woman living down at the end of your street.  The one you whisper about behind my back.  Oh yes, I've heard you, but it only makes me laugh.  I've heard you whispering, "doesn't she know how bad things are?", "didn't she get the memo?", "she's sick, I heard she's dying. What the hell is she thinking?!".......

I'm thinking life is short, make the most of it!  I've seen the news and I know things are not looking good lately.  I've heard my doctor and I know I'm headed for that big dirt nap.  I've opened my front door on more than one occasion and been hit square in the face with life's Flaming Pies....... but I still slap a smile on my face, get out my dancing shoes, and look at all the wonderful things in my life.  I believe my happiness comes from within.  The last thing I want for my friends and family is to be a "Debbie Downer" and make them miserable and sad.  I've never believed in putting off happiness until I have that "perfect day".  Hells bells, that may never happen and then where would I be?  I'd be living a wasted life!
