I love Belgium. I was in Brugges,(so romantic) Antwerp, and Ostend. It was a long time ago, but I have fond memories of your lovely country. And, Belgium chocolate is one of the best, along with Swiss.

About 2 weeks ago, enna picked up this hitch hiker.
Turned out he was from Belgium. Anyhow, she brought him back to our place for a feed. A really nice young fellow, 22 and back packing his way around Australia. Offered him a bed and he stayed the night before continuing his journey the next day.
A really nice bloke. Name "Maarten" - as in "Martin" Even our neurotic dog liked him.
Tread your own path. -
As with many countries from the West European "moderate wet climate belt" , the mood of the people changes with the wheather. If needed, it changes in one hour of time.
For anyone who comes to Belgium : pick sunny days :-) -
How true, how true. However, on rainy days, there's always a Great pub nearby with excellent Belgian beer... -
The beer is still available during sunshine !
