I'm Ready Now...

to file divorce. Anyone know of a good divorce attorney in Texas?

What I want:
To get support for my child.
He drives a BMW...I have no means of transportation. Would be great for the court to see the injustice of this and have him be more fair.
To get debts resolved. He promised to not holdĀ me accountable to paying off his student loans or taxes for years where he hid the amount from me.
To divorce quicly. I have already divided property and my daughter lives with me.

What I don't want:
Drama...or being mean to him. I don't want to hurt him; I just want it fair.
To harm my kids in any way.
It to be expensive. I don't have much money.

Any ideas or recommendations? Thanks.

Talk to a few lawyers in your area, every lawyer I called provided a free initial consultation. Laws var by state - so it is difficult to advise on TX law, but you should be able to leave these consultations with a good perspective on the likely outcome of a divorce with respect to your assets, future income, and custody.

I used Nolo Press for my divorce. Here's a page on when you need a lawyer:<br />
