My wife and I used to live apart. We did this for about 4 years. It was the hardest years of our marriage together. Since we moved back in together, the longest we've gone without sex is 3 Blockbuster days, that is one evening, one whole day, and then a part of the 3rd day. She was all over me by the 3rd day. Luckily for me, I no longer live in a sexless marriage. I think the years apart ultimately brought us closer together.

Great to hear you two are back together and loving life with each other. A 4 year separation was a little extreme and is very unusual that it worked out.

  Thank you. We are very happy together. It takes a lot of work, but it is well worth it. I can't imagine being with anyone else.

This is a good result. 4 Years apart gave her a good chance to experience all the other crap out there. Perhaps she now realises that the grass is not always greener on the other side.

Good for you! I've often wondered if complete separation for a while might help some of us living in a SM. It seems like my husband and I always have sex after one of us has been gone on a long trip.
