It's Been So Long...

Can't remember when we were intimate. One good year and a lifetime of talking and searching. In the analysis I can go or stay and be a roommate. I wanted a shared life with her but that isn't how she sees things today. Really depressing. Really hopeless.

    This part of your life may well be "hopeless". And this stage of your life may well be "hopeless"

    But it does not follow that other parts of your life are "hopeless" and it does not follow that the next phase of your life will be "hopeless" either.

    But is all going to swing on the choices you start making (or not making) from now. And these choices need to be INFORMED choices, based on discoverable fact and known fact - not on hope or promises.

    Discoverable facts are ones like how a divorce would shake out for you. That would give you relevant information upon which to base a choice.

    Known facts are what you see in front of you. Behaviour, action / inaction. This also gives you information from which you can make informed choices.

    Like it or not, we are, ALL of us, in the business of "choice". No-one gets a pass on it - or the consequences there-of be they good or bad.
