I Want You To Want Me.

You're sick? I'll hold your hair and clean up the mess. Your neck hurts I'll rub your shoulders.  You've been on your feet all day, you finally got the boots off and your feet are sore?  I'll give you a nice foot rub (hope you don't mind if I wash my hands when I'm done).  Car is broken? House needs yet another repair?  I can, would and do take care of it.  You're right, it's not always fun but there is a real sense of pleasure having  done something meaningful for the one that means the most.

I have a lot to give.  Most of it is the day to day seemingly meaningless things.  Yeah, I grouch when I have to drop what I wanted to do to fix the car but the truth is, I'm glad to be here and I'm glad that I'm the one who makes the difference.  I will always do my best to comfort and protect you with whatever strength I have.

The heart of the soul is like any other muscle in that if you don't exercise it it will shrink.

If you help me exercise my heart I will share that strength with you.

One lesson from life: You can't want anyone to be or want something chosen by you. Take them as-is, without any express or implied warranty.

The last line is great. Thanks for sharing.

Look up "co-dependent" in the dictionary. There'll be a photo of you.

Tread your own path.

Well that's nice!
