I don't know. In the end, do I really want to say I loved less so I could have a great career? Not really. Besides, I think it is limiting thinking to say it has to be either/or. Why not create a life of sex, love, intimacy and joy in all one does? Or something like that........

You're of course right, Awakeforthedance. It is better to have "both" rather than "either/or" in this case.

You now have so much more TIME to re-organise your stamp collection? Or should that be your train spotting records . . . ?? ROFL

It is probably keeping your wrist supple, and developing some muscle tone in your arms.

And that would have to be a plus for the golf game, right??

Good points, bazzar and enna30. And if you play golf left handed it's like playing with another person.

Ah yes - I had completely forgotten that in my 40s I should be so very concerned with my career, because I am certain that in just a few years people will mention how wonderful was my success at my eulogy - which should be much more important to me than actually enjoying my life.

I cannot express my thanks for you bringing this to my reminder...might I here quote Umair Haque - "Duuude? Check me Broseph. All I really want is a mega-bonus, a lifetime membership to the VIP room, and the keys to a Maserati." Welcome, then, to bootylicious mediocrity.

Excellent thoughts and quote, Wolfy1. Guys like Umair has definitely got it going on and going strong.

    4. It made me realize what a dud my EX-spouse was and how important it was to leave him and get on with my life...
