Sexless...And Here'S Why

My wife is a control freak and uses sex....the lack of it...as a weapon. I went along initially, but over a period of time, started feeling very cheapened. We haven't had sex now in about 15 years....and she has become totally frigid...although, earlier whenever we did it, it was good...and she liked it a lot. What she didn't like was loosing control and after an hour or so, after we had a round of good sex....she would start getting angry with herself for having lost control of herself while we were making love. And then, for weeks, she would be angry with me too.

    Well, it's worked for her so far, as you are still there.

    She gets to pretend for the outside world that she's a normal human being, and you keep pretending as well.

    Keep reading, and you will see your narrative repeated many times.

    The first sentence should be in the past tense, and the relationship too.

    She owns her behaviour in the situation.

    You own your choice that you have stayed in the situation.

    There are no "winners" in dysfunctional relationships. There are no "good" or "bad" guys either. There is no "right" or "wrong".

    What there is, is a dysfunctional situation that needs resolvement.

    Maybe you'll take that role on, and maybe you won't.

    Tread your own path.
