I changed my facebook to my maiden name with similar results. However, my inbox was mostly occupied by former lovers. It kind of made me happy.

If they weren't there for you when he wasn't treating you right, why would you want to hang out with HIS friends/family once you kicked HIM to the curb?

"I watched while you suffered, now that you're no longer suffering, I want a piece of you"! nice.

One of his cousins is one of the ones messaging me ..... I do have to say... He has always been there for me since before I married my husband.

He constantly told me that I deserved so much more than what I was putting up with.

I've learned there is always someone waiting for the breakup so they can make their move. Some don't even wait for it! ;-)

Haha, I like Facebook, generally. I will certainly be taking my profile underground once things are actually underway, though.

Yep, Facebook, a 'solution' looking for a problem to solve; mostly. I'm much like Baz. After many years I'm still trying to figure out what the magic is. I noted the other day that it's number of members are supposedly steadily dropping. I guess others are asking "Why?" as well now.

If there is one quality that makes me more indignant about other people almost more than anything else is their tendency to be presumptuous. It gets on my ****, and that folks, is quite a considerable thing.

Facebook ***** me I am bound to say. Have opened my page once in the last 3 years, and the only reason for that was due to circumstance where it was the only way I could speak to one of my kids who got involved in a bit of trouble whilst overseas late last year.

    Tread your own path.

I Agree. When you are a Facebook member, you walk a narrow line about how you act, or are regarded by others. Beware.
