I Live In a Sexless Marriage
This all came to a head right after Thanksgiving. Hearing my wife say, “If you want sex….go find it someplace else”. I said are you sure?..............she said……….. Yes! I walked away thinking, that’s the last time I’ll attempt sex with my wife. Enough is enough.
For the last month I have been reading various posts online. This was a suggestion by one of the members here in EP. She said, “ Don’t just jump into a relationship”. Further, she went on making other suggestions. She wasn’t alone, other members had input. Oddly, all of them made sense.
Long story short, I respect their opinion but an affair will be in my future. Not sure affaire would be the correct word, so I’ll use sex. Sex being a one night stand, maybe a long weekend and so on. To me, an affair is a relationship that is ongoing. Making a move to have an affair or just sex, required a great deal of thinking. Too much if you ask me. Here is where I am to date.
Sex outside of marriage is going to happen. Telling me to go find sex wherever you can……..That’s like a get out of jail free card. Plus, that’s just a challenge I’m up for. Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Clause!
Sex aside, I started to think……………….is that really the issue. Could it be intimacy that I seek? Maybe, I like intimacy almost as much as sex. Lust? Ahhhhhhh, that’s a good one. Maybe, but that started in High School – I’m keeping that. Maybe just friendship. Nah, I have a lot of male and female friends. Wouldn’t mind having a few more female friends though.
So…..there it is. First things first. Where to start ? Well I already have I guess, since I’ve posting my thoughts and plans as above. Location, got to be in the casino. Atlantic City – Borgata- Can’t be beat. Or in Las Vegas 3/19 to 3/21. Maybe both.
