I was wondering where you are going with this, then saw your story in another group of about a year ago - and in the context of this one, it does make sense.

I figure you are at "everything is great bar the sex".

Would that be fairly accurate guess ?

I have no idea. As someone else said, maybe it would be best to ask how you managed to upset her, what was going through her mind at that very moment. You might not like the answer, presuming you get a forthright answer, that is.

Personally, I think she thought you were being sneaky and presumptive and she was thinking several steps ahead of where your head wasn't at. It wasn't was it? Whether asking for directions in advance would have made any difference, I haven't a clue.

When I was pregnant with my 1st I was scared to miscarry so refused to have sex but offered manual compensation which spouse turned down (hence intro of affairs question);

Determined to not turn my man down with the 2nd I was a raving nympho but he was under too much stress..jobless and then busy in a new job...and I felt fat and ugly especially after seeing photos of e in my first (babies are back to back);

With my 3rd I actually lost weight and in reality never looked so good; I had offers l,r and c. But hubby was biz traveling and always too tired (yeah right?);

I was a size 4 pregnant at 5'8 and I still felt strange in my body. You'd think that by the 3rd with back to back pregnancies that I'd have been used to it. Nope. Those hormones wrecked my sanity and put some funky shades on me.

A pregnant woman is vulnerable and needs to be nurtured and protected. Coddled and caressed without questions or demands. I cried when some Indian guru explained to me that a woman's soul will be permanently damaged if she does not get that nurturing and support in her pregnancies.

Damaged goods is what pregnancy rendered me because my spouse could not spare any attention on me. He had to make sure he took care of himself... The advice he got from his female study-partner in his MBA program.

So Indian style, man up and cater to your wife. The baby-making project has lifetime benefits attached to it. And when product release date approaches you will be overjoyed that you dedicated a few months to the welfare of your child and wife.

Why don't you ask her? Maybe some things feel wrong, or maybe it's lack of self esteem, but noone on here is your wife (that we know of), so we can't answer for her!

Myself, I wanted sex more than ever when pregnant - no need to fear an "accidental" pregnancy, and my body was just jazzed with wanting to be touched. But everyone's different.

When my wife was that pregnant, I had to assure her over and over that I thought she was the most beautiful person in the world. That was pretty easy because I definitely did. If you can't be turned on by a woman who is about to bring your child into the world I think you have some hang-ups. That said, even when I told her she was beautiful and sexy she really had a hard time believing that I found her attractive. Be very patient and considerate. Keep telling her that you find her very attractive and want to cuddle her naked and touch her all over. Let her know you're fantasizing about her. For me, it did the trick. The irony is that I had sex much more when my wife was pregnant than I do now.Still, a woman is very vulnerable when she's pregnant. Many will simply not want to be with you. Despite the name of this group, I think it's perfectly normal for a woman to refuse while pregnant. Carrying a child 24/7 for nine months, in my mind, allows for her to make whatever call she wants about having her body touched and explored.

Your wife must be getting quite large if you can feel the baby kicking. My missus felt very unsexy whilst carrying. Even less than normal!

Yours is probably similar. You may think she looks womanly, maternal and sexy. Unless she FEELS this then it matters not what you say or do. she's not going to want to be touched and even less inclined to touch you.

Let her take the lead. If she offers intimacy then take it but do not force a sexual outcome from it.
