I Live and Love In Cornwall

A personal story in the experience: I Live In Cornwall Uk
i live in cornwall and i love it.

it is a beautiful place, full of beautiful people (both inside and out.) and i love it.

i have lived other place but my heart has always been in cornwall and it is always cornwall that i think of as my home, even though i was not born in cornwall, just brought here by my parents when i was three years old.

i had such a great life in cornwall, obviously not my home life, but i mean i was able to roam, to explore to run around on the beaches, and walk mile and miles, without anyone having to worry that i was going to be attacked.

not that they would worry they werent that sort of family but you know what i mean.

and what people say about cornwall always being wet, well it can be, but i dont notice it, what i notice are the people, the places, and that it is always better in the winter.

no affence to the holiday makers but seriously they spoil the place.

it is so sad that so many people buy house in cornwall which they then only live in for 2 or 3 weeks a year, and the rest of the year leave empty as so many people who were born in cornwall cant afford to stay in cornwall because of low wage and high house prices.

i am lucky that i have managed to buy. but my heart is in cornwall, and i could never truely leave it forever.

cornwall rocks, but i hate what is happening to it, and i wish i could stop the changes, and put cornwall back to how it was when i was a kid.

when it was still mainly people who had been born in cornwall, and when you could go out and leave all your doors unlocked, without fear or worry that someone would break into your house.

I LOVE CORNWALLXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

oh it is awful not so long back these people brought this beautiful old traditional cornish cottage, the sort most people would die for. and they knocked it down just like that smashed it to bits, it was heart breaking, and to make it even worse, they put up this big old minamulist thing, that just vile.

I love Cornwall. It wasn't very wet when I went there in 2006 and 2007. This year we went to South Wales (Tenby) but compared to Hayle (Cornwall) it was nothing although a nice little colorful town in its own right but Hayle has that big beautiful beach, the blue sea and the 'towans' and the beautiful lighthouse. I missed all these things in Wales.

Totally agree, Cornwall's an amazing place. Grew up in Kent and Sussex and moved down here 5 years ago.

Best decision I ever made, it actually saved my life. Didn't have the best of childhoods and was quite messed up over it, but meeting such lovely, open-minded people completely turned me around.

Love this place, they do definitely need to sort out those housing issues though! Haha, I also quite like the tourists, they throw in a bit of variation. I live in a small town and it's always good to have new people to drunkenly talk to in the pubs! xxx
