I Live In Poverty
I am 39 years old now. I still fight the "black dog" frequently. My kids are 10 and 11 and I am "unschooling" them now since they were so miserable at the public school they were going to. I try to make the best of the times when I am well and have enough energy to take the kids out to see their friends and my parents, who live nearby. Other times, I just have to stay in bed. Lately, the kids have been really angry because their father is gone. Although he left when they were babies, he decided he wanted to be involved in their lives a couple of years later. He had moved 2,000 miles away, though, so he only sees them once a year.
