The Grim Reaper of Food

a couple of weeks ago i decided to make a whole bunch of my own food and put it in tupperware containers. I only spent $60 on food that would last me 2 weeks. But actually it only lasted 4 days until it went bad and could'nt stand eating it. I got really frustrated and i don't think i want to do this. Its wastes alot of food and it does'nt seem like its worth the trouble. especially when you made a noodle dish with browning avacado and too much salt in it.

but hey at least i find foods like kd appealing again. and those are usually cheap?

Don't give up! What I do is make pots of chili, stew, soup and freeze them in single serving size containers. That way, nothing goes to waste and you don't have to eat the same thing every day. Fresh foods are best eaten within a day or two.

You have to make things that freeze well and then you should be ok. I have faith in you! Try again :)

my "cheap meal" of choice is PB&J with a twist. Low fat 40 calorie whole wheat bread, sugar free jelly, and low fat peanut butter. Around 150 calories, at 50cents a sandwich! LOL I'm gonna make one now!~
