For Whatever Reason...

...people are more than content to rot. They embrace mediocrity and homogeniety. They are common thinkers and small people. This defies the limits of logic. Perhaps I'm one of those extremists, a classic type-A personality discontent to be average at any undertaking. If that is the case then so be it, but I prefer that to the alternative. My idea is that if I'm going to spend what little time I have on this mudball hurling through the great black expanse doing something, anything, I may as well take it all the way. To my mind, it would be a waste of time to perform a task, learn a skill, play a game - half-heartedly. Maybe the fire of youthful enthusiasm still burns brightly in me, and the infinitude of possibilities which lay before me in this life keep me in a state of mind where anything and everything can happen. Learning quickly and completely anything I'm exposed to or taught or I make an attempt to solve or decipher has always been one of my greatest strengths. Watch me make full use of it. One Hundred Percent use of it. Watch me go all the way with anything I touch. If it is worth being a part of my life, then I'm worth being incredible at it.
