I grew up during the late 60's and 70s, and lived in four foster homes. I've never seen my birth parents and know very little about them. Like other things in life, a couple of the homes could have been better, but I don't have many regrets with the families I lived with. Like I said, it could have been better, but I'm a happy person, in spite of my expireinces in those homes. Some had it worst than I did, I'm sure.

 Feeling naughty | Posted Nov 7th, 2009 at 12:44AM As a doctor and certified child psychiatrist, you have resolved your issues with foster care - you have gone through all the stages of grief associated with it and you have gone through any anger issues and it seems you have wonderfully accepted the good and the bad of your foster care experience. You show great strength and closure on your childhood experiences as a foster chilled, which I believe allows you now to be so emotionally stable in your life. Thanks for sharing your story. Cheers!
