i have no issues with other folks' beliefs.  but i do expect them to be able to tell me WHY they believe what they do.  and "that's just how i was taught" is not an acceptable reason!  a friend of mine was raised Baptist, and would just puke out the answer she had always been fed when a question was asked.  that is fine, but WHY did she think that?  and she never had a better reason than it being what she had been taught from childhood.

believe what you will, but please, i beg of you, THINK about it, and be willing to hear other opinions!!!!!

    If someone asks me about my faith, I gladly tell them. By the same token, I listen to their views, too. some of my extremely fundamental relatives would disown me in a moment if they knew some of my personal beliefs. it makes me sad that a faith supposedly founded on love attracts so many who hate.
