The Eye of Horus

There's some story I read from ancient Egypt about how the Egyptians thought that the sun and the moon were the eyes of the god Horus...when the moon was new Horus was blinded temporarily and could strike out at his friends as if they were his enemies...but when the moon was full he could see clearly.

I'm not sure what I see when I look at the moon.  I know there are plans amongst the monied and powerful interests who run things to mine it for resources.  I can't think of anything more abhorrent than a factory on the moon.

It would be nice to live in a period of time where people looked up at the moon with a sense of majesty.  this period of history is not really that time.

Thats one of the wonderful things about the monied and poweful, they are too selfish to think of the consequences their decisions actually incur.
