I'll go out, sit by the pool on a deck chair, and look up into the sky, see what stars I can. The lights all around us block most of them out, that's what happens when you live in a city, but the stars that I CAN see make me wonder.. They make me wonder who's out there, if there's someone out there thinking of me the way I'm thinking of them, if the person I'm thinking about knows that I have them on my mind. On nights when the power goes out, I sit outside and watch the stars twinkle overhead, and I realize what I'd been missing all the time when the streetlights would block out the little pinpricks of light I couldn't see otherwise.

Stars fascinate me, and make me wonder about things.. About life outside of our solar system, parallel universes, so many things that it makes my head swim in confusion, if I think too much about it.

I'll look up at the moon, and think, "Hey.. The moon's really beautiful, with all the stars and the inky black sky, especially when all these streetlights aren't shining to block it out!". It just fills me with awe, seeing things like that.
