What Changes Us.

By the time i was 19, I had lost my mum to cervical cancer and my dad died from Parkinson's disease.
I had to care for both of them before they died. It was probably the hardest thing I have ever done, watching both my parents slowly die before my very eyes and to make it worse at the same time. They died just over a year apart.
I have never felt more helpless or alone, that single event changed my whole life and me in more ways than i could have ever imagined.

I'm 18 and I just lost both of my parents two weeks ago in a domestic violence act. My father killed my mother then himself while I was there. So I understand how you feel.

It was the worst time of my life. But it started me on the track to becoming who I am today.
