A Sad Day.

Please accept my condolences. A baby brother? I wish I had the power to eradicate cancer. The devastation it wreaks, I see it constantly. It takes any age, any sex...it has no fairness. It devours all it wants. I am sorry for your pain. If you want to talk, I am here for you. I am a nurse and I could listen or talk, whatever you wish....He is at peace now. I don't know if I believe in God and heaven and hell....But I know that when one dies especially from a disease, they achieve peace in mind, body, and in spirit. So he will dwell in your heart and in your soul now and always, devil. With time, you will be able to talk about him without a lump in your throat and the swift, severe pain in your mind. This is very sad. But he is free from suffering, wished there was a cure for cancer so the death toll stops once and for all.

My best friend had cancer and after fighting for almost a year and watching him fight so hard we had to tell him he had faught his fight the best he could and that he could let go. Tommorow will be three mounths to the day that I was holding him in my arms and he took his last breath. It gets harder every day without him but I keep telling myself that he is in a better place and someday I will get to see him.
