Letters To My Alienated Children

My dear beloved children;

It's been nearly 2 years since I've seen you, heard from you, gotten any sign you still exist. I know that our divorce was difficult on you but I haven't forgotten you, nor do I love you any less. It's not your fault that we divorced, and I didn't want to lose my relationship with you. If you ever read this, know that I am still here, and that I still love you, and I will never let go. No matter how far you are, how angry you are, or what you've been told, that will never change. I want a relationship, so when you are ready, then I will be waiting. Let's rebuild our relationship together and make it better than before.....

Nice letter.
When you write the next one, leave out all the stuff about what "you want".

Make it all about THEM.
