Now I'm Back To Square One.

I was employed as a specialized artist at a small, laid-back company, and I loved my job. I was there for seven years and thought I'd be there until the day I could retire. The economic crash of 2008 brought our work to a screeching halt and I was laid off. With no improvement in business I was told not to expect to be called back. So now I'm looking for work all over again, unable to find anything full-time or a job that pays anything close to what I had worked up to. And certainly not in anything where I would utilize my talent. Years ago I started out as a waitress working nights, weekends, and holidays. I paid my dues to finally get a M-F 9-5 job. Now it looks like I'll be waiting tables again. How depressing.
