Still Miss Her

I lost my grandma to lung cancer and she didn't even smoke...ever We lived right next door to my grandparents when I was growing up and she was definately my serrogate mother. She was built like Dolly Parton and could always make me laugh. I love her and miss her everyday.

I know your pain.

I feel for your loss. I truly do.

When my Dad died, from lung cancer, a friend of his said to me: " Kevin, you never get over get used to it".

At first, I didn't know what he meant , to be honest.

But when my mum died, a couple of years ago, I knew EXACTLY what he meant and was able to cope with it a lot better.

They are still with me and all the things they taught me through life.

I don't try to forget them - that is impossible. I don't WANT to forget them.

They are still with me 'in spirit - if not body.

If this sounds a a bit 'cheesy', it is not intended to.

I am just giving you food for thought. I was brought up Catholic, but rarely go to church, so I am not not some sort of religious freak!

Put it this way. re-read what I have written, and I hope it helps you.

Good Luck,
