Lost Without John

It's been 12 days since I lost my darling 37 year old husband, John, to brain cancer. It took John and I a long time to find each other, but we were so perfect together and loved each other so much. Two 1/2 years after we were married, John suffered a grand mal siezure and was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor a short while after. We spent the next two years fighting his tumor with everything we had. Surgery, radiation, chemo, special diets, herbal therapies. Nothing worked. Just before John was diagnosed we were seriously talking about starting a family, and now he is gone and I have nothing. It's so hard to go on without him. I miss him so much and the pain is unbearable. This is just so, so hard.

I am sorry for your loss. I know that it must be very hard for you, but the courage to write your story on this is impressive that you can. Your husband would have been and is proud of you for going on. Nobody can imagine what you are going through unless they have gone though it themselves. My deepest thoughts are with you. You will be ok, just remember he loves you too now and forever.
