I Lost My Mother to Cancer
My mum was told that she had a baseball -size tumor in her lung in AUG,of 84, and was to undergo a dr. visit to discuss chemo and the like,on that friday the 24th.,which was the day before my daughter`s 4th birthday.She had stopped her meds and taking in food,and had my daughter open her presents on that WEDNESDAY,so she could enjoy the moment and occassion(I BELIEVE SHE KNEW THAT HER TIME HAD COME AND WAS PREPARING,ALTHOUGH WE WERE NOT READY YET.I still have not come to terms with her dying so quickly (6 days) even though I know it is a blessing she did not suffer the painful endings of some loved ones!
