I Lost Someone To Suicide
30 years ago, when I was 7, I lost my mum to suicide.
I came back from a friends house to be met by a neighbour and the Police.
There was an ambulance outside our house and I was told mum had an accident. Little did I know I would never see her again.
I later learnt that she was very ill with schizophrenia, and she had committed suicide.
Though me and my brother were well looked after by family, helping dad out, the gap left by her is undeniable.
I miss her so much she was, and still is, my mum and i'll never forget her.
