People Might Think It's Silly To Say A Band Saved Your Life...

But I discovered 30 Seconds to Mars when I was having trouble finding a reason to get out of bed in the morning. And was to a point where I was having suicidal thoughts. But early 2006 I stumbled on The Kill on Fuse. And fell in love. I went out and bought ABL and their self-titled albums and lost myself in the music. I saw them live on Halloween of that year and it was the best night of my life. So Mars is so much more than just a band... It's the music, it's Jared and Shannon and Tomo... it's the Echelon. They've all played a role in saving my life. And for that, I thank them.

I agree with you 100% they just have that way of connecting to people, they have helped me through some tough times also. I cant stop listening to them every song they have I have related to or gone yep that's how I feel.

I did exactly the same as you, I was going through depression and I heard the kill on kerrang in 2008, and I just wanted to move on but when I got their albums I was so much happier. I went to see them on Sunday and they are great live. Anytime my depression begins to come back I listen to them and it helps me through it.
