It's may be older then me, but I love my AE-1 35mm SLR. I bought it used for $40 and I could not be happier with it. I use a Vivitar flash with it and it is great camera. There is a reason why these cameras are a popular classic all these years later. I also love how sturdy it feels. All these new DSLRs feel like plastic toys and feel kind of delicate. I like a camera I can take camping with me and don't need to worry about handling it with kid gloves.

    Absolutely nothing wrong with the older slr's. I still use a 20 year 0ld (maybe more?) pentax k1000. Been in the rain, snow, at fires, just keeps working and doing what I tell it to do.
