Do You Remember...

Do you remember Lost in Emotion, Shake You Down, Funky Town, and etc? Yeah...I was alive during the 80's, but I didn't really appreciate the music like I do now. The music back then was not vulgar. Yes, they sang of sex, but it wasn't vulgar. It was passionate. Love was an emotion, not a fleeting moment. Now days, music sings of the money the singer has, the girls he's screwing, or the car he drives. I'm kind of sick of it actually. I somehow think it was more romantic, more fun, and not the same old rhetoric...Okay...I'm not sure about country. If I could go back and relive those days...and appreciate the music like I do now...I would. I just can't get enough of it.
