must begin by saying this is about cheating with a married man. In defense, it does simply... just happen. I never meant it to... but was truly helpless to prevent it.
After a sexless marriage of almost 20 years, I was seduced by a younger man. This magnificent man gave me more in two years than I've received in both my marriages spanning 35 years.
Our affair began and played out based upon complete, total, raw sexual desire. While his body created fire in mine, he would look deep into my eyes... telling me how much he loved me... without saying a word. He took me to heights only imagined. For me, unfortunately and fortunately, the fire he started deep within me spread to my heart, consuming my very soul.
So, I fell in love with him... and I still love him. I always will. I truly feel there is not another man who could possibly possess the attributes that make this man the most incredible and wonderful man I will ever know.
Why doesn't he deserve me???????
Besides, being married... he's 1000 miles away... AND he's a serial cheater. He's self-absorbed, cruel, and inconsiderate. He's, also, brilliantly manipulative!
That's why I'm too good for him!
THEN... why can't I get him out of my heart and out of my head????????????

  | Posted Dec 7th, 2007 at 12:47PM Just guessing here. Sometimes in a relationship, we are blinded by what WE NEED rather than the way THEY really ARE. I ought to know. I got married twice that way. Maybe you will need to replace him with another to get him out of your head.   |

 | Posted Jan 19th, 2008 at 5:29PM Apparently it bothers you to have a sexless marriage. Have you brought it up with your husband? For all you know, if he agrees to be more "active", you'll find some fire within him as well. And, lust isn't love. No matter how much you believe that he "loves" you and you "love" him in return, it's simply lust that you both desire. Unless you break it off -completely-, there's no way you can get him out of your head. I'm inexperienced in this, so this is just my opinion, really. Good luck. :( |
