Airport Goodbyes

Airport goodbye's are like getting shots. You dont want to.. but you have to. And in the middle of pain you try to be as brave as possible knowing there is nothing to save you.. there are few things that are as painful as trying to hold back tears.. its like your whole body is fighting against you.

it doesn't get easier with time and nothing about it is familiar. It's just sadness that can't find an escape so you swallow most of it and end up sick to your stomach for a week.
