So Glad I'm Not the Only One

Okay, this is going to sound really stupid, but it's true! When I'm alone, I talk to myself in different accents! French is my favorite, but I am partial to the Queen's English, Scottish, Irish, South African and New Zelander accents, too.
I wonder if other people in the world like the American English accent? You never hear anyone saying they like the sound of American English, although I hear that the French like the sound of American English from the deep south.
Oh, and I forgot! I love the sound of a Russian accent on a man.

LOL, I do that, too, sometimes. Just start up speaking in a British accent, BBC-variety or Cockney, or try on the Irish Brogue (still working on that one). New York Accents are my favorite, and Indian accents as well. It's a little like the playacting that kids do.
I was just thinking that, too, what you said about American accents. Most of the stories I've read here are from Americans, talking about other regional or language accents, but I haven't heard anyone say "Oh, that American accent, it just makes my knees all a quiver!"

Yeah, accents are fun! The last time I went to Disneyland, with an ex-girlfriend, we made a deal at the beginning of our day that we would have to speak the whole time there in a British accent.
There are so many tourists there from all over the world that nobody ever even suspected that we were faking it.
Good times.
