Best. Invention. Ever.

Living in Florida, a/c is a MUST. When it's 90 degrees with humidity at 60% it feels like 102. No kidding! I really appreciated a/c when Hurricane Charley knocked the power out, and before that in 1992 when Andrew knocked our power out til November.  I just can't live without it.

I can't live without it either. hvac in Nashville is honestly a necessity just as much as a car of electricity is. The weather is so extreme here. http://airtigers.com/

Oh my gosh... You don't need to sit in the heat! Come to my place! I think since I grew up in Connecticut the Florida heat just wears me down. Different kind of heat up there.

I have discovered that I can live without it. I just don't like to live without it even though it causes and worsens my arthritis to excruciating levels. Surving since July, when the A/C went kaput, it was well over 100% degrees in my house. My thermostat just said 00 when it went above 98 or 99%. When the temperature dropped to 84% after my body adapted to the heat it felt like a cold front coming through my house. The air conditioning at work felt positively arctic. My oldest cat who grew up outside demand to go out during the summer when I have the central running. I don't think he cares for it.
