I Love Ancient Egypt
Ever since I was a child, I have always been fascinated with Ancient Egypt. My dad was in Egypt for a while and brought back many artifacts, one being a necklace with my name scripted in Hieroglyphics. It's simply amazing.
I got even more interested in Egypt when the DreamWorks film, 'The Prince of Egypt' came out to theaters in 1998. To this day, that is one of my favorite films <3 The biblical story of Moses leading his people out from Egypt to the Promised Land really caught me interest in the Bible, and of course, Rameses the second.
I'm so fascinated, I even did my Junior Project on one of the gods, Anubis, the Jackal headed god of embalming.
That's another thing I love; embalming. The process of taking the vital organs out of the body and placing them into canopy jars..I love it.
I have tons of books on the Pharaohs and the gods of Egypt that I use to do research and write papers on.
So, I guess you can say I'm an Egypt fanatic <3
