Mind Altering

I love my pets.  They are non-judgemental and always happy to see me.  They are generally good listeners (well sometimes I have to bribe them to stick around).

Studies have shown that when we pet our animals natural mood altering substances increase in the blood stream, stimulating feelings of happiness and tranquility.

I bought my boxer pup to pull me from my grief and depression after my mom died.

It was a lot cheaper method of therapy than when I was younger :-)

I completely agree with you findinme , although I have a new kitten not a dog but still a pet none the less. And I can tell you that before I got him things were getting really bad for me, and now he brightens my day and he is always at the door waiting for our traditional 10 minutes of cuddles when I get home from work. He is very special indeed. I just love animals.

Hehe. My dog knows more about me than any human does, and she will never give away any of my darkest secrets either. (well, if she does, she will get no dog biscuits for a week). Gotta love them :)
