Mourning, But Staying Strong

For as long as I can remember, my families apartment has always been crowded with pets. In our house animals aren't just pets, they're family. Whenever I feel lonely I cuddle with one of our cats or dogs and just lose my self in their fur and purrs, or I sit in front of our turtle tanks and just watch them eat their food after I feed them, or I might just play with my hampster.

Unfortunately one of our cats that we have had for about 14 years now, just passed on yesturday and my whole house is mourning. She's been in my life since I was a little child and I'll always keep her memory with me. All that we can do know is stay strong for the rest of the animals that are remaining. All you pet lovers probably know how it is, once one pet passes away, most of the others go along with them. We've lost three pets this year, one dog and two cats, and I'm not sure if we can handle another loss.

The rabbit and first iguana (6 years) died in a flood
the 2 baby iguanas and the cat died from illnesses (separate ones) I am keeping you and your human and pet family in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved pet. As an animal lover I can understand how you feel, I lost three cats in the span of 4 months and Tuesday I had to put my rat down because of a tumor in her lung.
Hurts to lose them but still I wouldn't want to be without the ones I have now. Sorry that you have lost a childhood friend *hugs*
