Ok i just watched the movie Akira and it made no sense. if anybody out there gets it please let me know because that was a weird movie. i did watch both vampire hunter d movies and they are INCREDIBLE!!!

Akira is based of off 5-6 volumes of Manga. All the height of dictionaries, and over 1000 pages.

I read them at my library in Tomah Wisconsin. I could read 2-3 a day. I love them so.
Go to mangafox, mangareader, or any of those related sites to read it. I'm not sure if you'll find it, but if you go to google and type in 'Akira manga Online' then you might.
I usually don't watch animes I've read or read animes I've watched. But with Akira, you might have to. It's slightly difficult to follow, and, the Manga would answer alot of your questions.
