The10 Anime Commandments

Did you know that there are the ten commandments of anime. You might think I'm crazy but I love and had always loved anime, and that is how the ten commandments of anime started.
Right now my top ten animes and/or manga are (as I watch new animes and read new mangas, this list changes)

10. Gundam Series

9. Full Metal Panic

8. Nana

7. Naruto

6. Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex

5. Junjou Romantica

4. Fairy Tail

3. Wakfu

2. Code Geass (both seasons)

1. Fullmetal Alchemist/Brotherhood

So you might wonder what are the ten anime commandments, well the anime club members and I had brainstormed and came up with these:

10. Thou shalt have at least one anime/manga poster.

9. Thou shalt have at least one anime/manga crush.

8. Thou shalt read and/or write at least one fanfic in their lifetime.

7. Thou shalt bring anime/manga to at least one other person's life.

6. Thou shalt attend at least one anime/manga convention in their lifetime.

5. Thou shalt do a cosplay at least once in their lifetime.

4. Thou shalt listen to anime music.

3. Thou shalt be open minded about yaoi and yuri.

2. Thou shalt love anime and manga equally.

1. Thou shalt watch anime or read manga at least once a week.

Here is THE TEN ANIME COMMANDMENTS, so what do you think?

P.S. This is the story that I most edit in this site. I keep on changing my top 10 animes (so if you are like me, don't worry we're in this together).

What about "darker than black" "arakawa under the bridge" "towa no Quon" "abenobashi" "fooly cooly" "cowboy bebop" "black blood brothers" "tengen no topa" there's just the few I can think of off the top of my head. Your top 10 is amazing, but I think for younger viewers just getting into the anime scene.

Anytime I am not at work or doing my schooling, I am either watching or loking for a new anime. A personal fav of mine is InuYasha<33 I can watch that series over and over. Another great one is ToraDora, and most recentally I have fallin in love with one called Fushigi Yuugi, it is heartbreaking and loving and I recomend it to anyone with a love for Anime<3

Awesome commandments, done a few of them but it will be hard to do some of the others but kick logic out and make the impossible possible that's how Team Gurren works

I've done all but love anime and manga equally I'm bad at reading so I like the manga so I can go as slow as I want.

I'm very proud to say i have followed these commandments for a while except i haven't gone to a convention yet :(
Love anime my whole life and even when i had friends who didnt like it they accepted that i am a complete addict. Life ambition to attain a comic artist job in the U.S and save up to move to Japan bawhahaa since manga-ka is very hard to become.

Other than the crush, convention, and cosplay commandments; I do or have done all of them. I don't think I'll ever be able to do the convention and cosplay ones because I'm too conscious of other people and I don't like places with a lot of people.

I'm proud to say that I have followed at least 80% of the commandments

10. Thou shalt have at least one anime/manga poster.

9. Thou shalt have at least one anime/manga crush. (Goku will always remain my beloved crush)

8. Thou shalt read and/or write at least one fanfic in their lifetime. (Haven't done that yet)

7. Thou shalt bring anime/manga to at least one other person's life. (Hmm I'm trying to get my friend hooked but I'm failing miserably)

6. Thou shalt attend at least one anime/manga convention in their lifetime.( I DID I DID I DID)

5. Thou shalt do a cosplay at least once in their lifetime. (well I did wear a costume but it was Phoenix from X-men...guess it doesnt count)

4. Thou shalt listen to anime music. (Umm not really although I love the Naruto soundtrack)

3. Thou shalt be open minded about yaoi and yuri. (I guess...I'm a bit weirded out about it but whatever)

2. Thou shalt love anime and manga equally. (Yes)

1. Thou shalt watch anime or read manga at least once a week. (How about once a day? one for the win)

Shoot! I was so close to being pure. Y can't I hav an Anime or manga poster? Y do I hav to be broke dat day wen da Black Butler poster was displayed at my Anime club?! T-T lol my favies r death note, black butler, poke'mon (da first season), digimon, sailor moon, & yu-gi-oh (da original).

I have Elfen Lied but haven't watched it yet, that and "here and there now and then," or something like that. Theres a lot of anime on my shelf that I haven't watched yet. I don't know what order they would be in but some of my favorite animes are:

theonly rules I dont follow to your list are open mind to yaoi/yuri and, treating all anime adn manga equally to one another (because I like living, breathing characters with voices that move me vs still images Icould easily learn to draw better and create...but anime I could never make!)
