"american Pickers" On The History Channel

Has anyone seen the History Channel show American Pickers? I love it, it is like Antiques Roadshow gone rogue. I not always interested in the kinds of things that the guys on the show seek out, but their lifestyle looks like so much fun. Traveling, hunting for forgotten treasures, dealing antiques. I'd love to do something like that. I'd love to find and sell beautiful antique furniture.

I do not like Antiques Roadshow and I cannot state that strongly enough because they say things that are not true. I do own some very nice antiques as an owner only I have no desire in my life to become a peddler or a picker. I am concerned about those that become angry with me for being truthful when it hurts their business interest. At 8 yrs. of age I started my own pottery in Bedford township New Connecticut. At 14 I worked as a consultant for Walker China in this same area, as a ceramics technician and also glaze chemist. What they really wanted from me though was my knowledge of transfers and laser etched designs. Because I do have knowledge I realize when others don't but are only pretending to. I share freely with everyone on picasa and also on blogs such as sla<x>yerwulfe4sla<x>yerwulfe + 6, 9, and 10 please look or critique if you want to but please don't be angry, it's such a turn off. At the very least you will see things that will never be presented on the Antiques Roadshow or even the Metropolitan or Smithsonian. My interest is more technical than aesthetic always. sla<x>yerwulfe

Pawn Stars is good too. A triumvirate here!!!
