Like A Kid Again

Tonight I made myself a homemade hot Cocoa from scratch. I felt like a kid again. The flavors were so fresh. The temperature was perfect. The balance of milk and Cocoa with the sugar were unbeatable. Then to crank it up I made toast and put real butter and just a bit of peanut butter. Then I sat in a lazy-boy chair and dipped my toast in the hot cocoa. Then  I remembered my mother making me toast with hot cocoa just like it was yesterday. I miss my good parents. They are both gone now. Good night all.
