I Love Awesome Lyrics
I love listening to Pet Shop Boys songs. Each one inspires my creative imagination and gives a lot of reasons to think deeply about my life.
When I listen to the song „Rent”... I feel like a young man who means so little in this world just like Neil Tennant who plays a chauffeur but knows his value and asks why all the things that sourround him, make him so unimportant. I say following Neil's words, „Look at my hopes, look at my dreams”
When I listen to the song „Domino dancing”...I think about my unhappy love from the past in which a woman much more experienced than me, prooved to „play a deifferent game” and left me, breaking all the promises she gave. Those memories of love still come back to my mind.
When I listen to the song „It's a sin”... I narrate my youth , when I was taught preposterous rules and outlooks at school as well as my family home. As the song says, „At school they taught me how to be So pure in thought and word and deed They didn't quite succeed”
When I listen to the song „Always on my mind”...I think again about the woman I loved and ask myself if there was any kind of my fault that she forgot about me without saying anything. I say with the song, „Little things I should have said and done I never took the time”
When I listen to the song „West end girls”... I'm walking crossing streets and passing buildings, thinking about so many issues about this world and our lives. I ask so many questions that almost no one can give my the answer. I try to explain them myself. The words come to mind, „Too many shadows, whispering voices Faces on posters, too many choices If, when, why, what? How much have you got?”
When I listen to the song „What have I done to deserve this?...I ask a naive question why this world ignores me so aften adding that, „What have I...what have I...what have I done to deserve this?”
There are my thoughts with Pets Shop Boys!
