Ballet Flats Are The Best!

I have loved women's shoes since I was a young kid. I am not sure how it started but I had older sisters and always loved to play with their shoes. I think that ballet flats are the best. I have a few pairs myself and love wearing them any chance I get. Unfortunately it is when no one is around. I have worn them outside at night before but nothing more than that. I took my favorites on a business trip once and wore them around, outside the hotel. that was a rush. Since it was late at night nobody saw me but just the idea of it was exciting. I had thoughts of wearing them back home on the plane but didn't dare to do that. Maybe some day that will happen. I have worn some flats while going to get gas. I paid at the pump so no one really saw me. Maybe next time I will go inside to pay. I think my next trip will be to go inside a store and just walk around and browse. My biggest fear is running into some one I know. Living in a rather small town, this is extremely possible. That would be totally embarrassing. Any thoughts?

Hey, I know that feeling of wearing ballet flats in public either late a night or very early in the morning when nobody would see me. But just thinking that someone could see me wearing ballet flats thats the biggest rush that I could feel. I also live in a small town so I still have not had the courage to go out wearing my ballet flats openly during the day. I think that I really pull a hard bargain here because I would love to wear my ballet flats openly with my beige hose too. That's too much asking isn't it?

Wearing your ballet flats openly is not as big a deal as you think. But Beware... once you have done it, you will be hooked and will never be able to wear ugly, uncomfortable closed shoes again!

i live in small town pop under 3000 and i ware my flats and skirts...it would be nice to find some one who shares flats...I'm a cd bin dressing female since age of 4 I'm 42 now. would be nice to get a view lovers.....then the hate looks i get.....lol

I'm an older guy who is straight but I just like the look and feel of the traditional ballet flats. I wear them with jeans or casual pants and most of mine are black or darker colors. Little or no decorations, such as bows. I wear them all the time in the summer to the mall, grocery store, restaurant, etc. My wife isn't real keen on this but accepts the fact I like this style of shoe. In general, I don't care what other people think about the shoes I wear. So go ahead and wear them in public. You will find after a while, you will almost forget you are wearing ballet flats.

  I would love to wear them out but my wife would not like it either. Not too mention we live in a small town and would be embarrassing to my kids who don't know I do it.
  I guess I will just keep wearing them in private for now. At least until my next business trip :)

  Wear plain flats with longer pants and it's doubtful that anyone will notice. If they do and say anything, just tell them your feet hurt and you wore you bedroom slippers.

  yes i'm 42 and a Drag queen bin waring the ballet flats. for yrs clad to here you ware them in public. they are a weakness i see a person in flats dissent mater age weight..it just a turn on....i like the bows...many queens prefer the
  heels or pump. but i prefer the flats. next would be open face sling back flat sandals....would rally kill for the flat slingback pumps....but the ballet flats. will
  always be my fave.. started waring them at 4 yr of age kept through til i was 16....didn't pick them back up until my late 30s bin waring them since..it the feel of them.....but congrats on you...nice to hear there are other brave souls

Ah yes I'm a Drag Queen all i ware are flats. Have the biggest weakness. i see a female in the ballet

flats or ant flats. cant take my eyes of of the flats. it's like instant wood. I see a female in flats take me to my knees. I have even spent countless hours on adult sites. to find a ballets flats ****. Ive come across a view adult pics of women modeling in them. put a naked women in front of me with flats on

i would drop to my knees and be looking at the flats.

I have come across one **** video of a female having sex with flat on. but was real disappointed. there was just sex. you maybe get to shots of her in the black flats:(

  I know the feeling. I am always looking to see what shoes women are wearing. I always get excited when I see them wearing flats, mocs, or clogs.

Ooo, on an airplane? Yeah, you should have done it! I think that'd be one of the places I'd be more willing to take the dare. You're mixed in with people (which as we all know, kind of heightens the thrill), yet safely tucked away in your seat for the most part. Besides, it'd be more 'explainable' as an easy-on, easy-off comfort shoe in that situation.

Riding a bike in them must feel and look fantastic. I don't have a bike so can't try it. Although if anyone has the bike but no ballet flats, I will be happy to share.

Yes, I know what you mean. Much more fun to year in Spring. I like to ride a bike in them as well. That is exciting.

Walking around in ballet flats is such a lovely feeling. I haven't dared do it that much yet, but when spring is here I am determined to have a few outings wearing them. I have black pair, and a some ultra cute glittery gold ones. I think it will be a while before I feel OK about wearing the sparkly ones out though.
