I Love Baseball
baseball when it gets inside you never leaves. I was one of the lucky ones who got to play pro ball for 5 plus years in the Yankee farm system ending in AAA. Unfortunatly I was drafted into the US Army went to Vietnam and got hurt. I am now age 69 and every spring I still get those baseball feelings. After my playing days I was involved with an American legion team for 30 years and coached many kids who played at the college level and over 50 who went into pro ball including John Lester who is with the Red Sox. I wish your son good luck and though pro ball is always a long shot a good college education p;uts him ahead of the game. Both of you enjoy the ride
