I'm A Diva Who Wants 2 B Loved....is That So Wrong?!

I really don't know what the problem is with being a diva? I love to dress up!  I love it when my makeup is impeccable, when my shoes m+atch my purse, when my nail polish pops and when my outfits are so Fierce folks can't help be stop and stare!  I love it when my friends or family members say I look amazing!  I love it when men stare, even though I may not be the smallest or skinniest chica!  I thrive on it!  I sometimes purposely try to out do the women I hang out with because I feed off of the attention!  Does it make me a bad person?  Do I sound egotistical or shallow?

I'm currently seeing a man who affectionately calls me Diva, but I sometimes wonder if he is really saying it affectionately.  He was drawn by my diva-ish ways, but sometimes when we go out he makes comments like "Why are you so done up? We are only going ..... (add common place)"  or "Why are you wearing so much makeup?"  I keep reminding him that he fell for me this way so don't try to change me, but I still can't help but feel a bit insecure.

Should I change to keep him interested?  Or will that just set me up for him to fall for another who's more flamboyant than I am?  Or is he insecure that I may attract another with my sexy ways?

Whatever the case maybe, I LOVE BEING A DIVA!  I don't think it's even possible for me to change!
