My Gift

I think to myself 4 yrs ago I was giving birth to the most beautiful angel in the world! I was told at 18 it was highly likely that I was not going to be able to have children. hearing that @ that age was devastating! My dream has always been to be a stay at home mother taking care of my children & my husband. 3 years later part of that came true :) & there is not a day that goes by that I dont give thanks to God for my blessing!! I truly do love being a mother. My son brings me great joy, & puts a smile on my face, that would light up a room :) I love him soooo much, all I wanna do is give him the world. Hes only 4 but I push him to strive to be the best he can be. He makes me strive to do the same, afterall actions speak louder than words & our children definitly learn by what we do.. :) & nothing makes me happier then when he runs up to me hugs me & says "Mommy, I love you" :)))) so today I would like to dedicate this story to my little man. I love you my precious angel. Always & forever <3 <3 <3

What is it like to be a mother - to have a child, and to love that child because he or she is yours? How are you different from when you weren't a mother - did becoming a mother change the way that you are by being a parent?

All very good questions!.. Being a mom is wonder, but stressfull @ times... the joy it brings is Like when you were a kid & on Xmas morning got soo excited because Santa came & gave you gifts :) before I was a mother I was very naive with responsibility.. & judging my own parents parenting skills.. But once I became a mom it wasnt just about me anymore, I had to care for this child.. He made me grow up.. & boy did I apologize to my parents for being hard on them growing up, bcuz I now understood why they were so hard on me. I think it has changed me im a hell of a lot more patient now & seek greater things from life to show him he can do & be who & what he wants.. I hope those answered your questions :)

What are the greater things from life that you find meaningful or that you seek out?

I set goals for myself...Writing poetry, finding a job that I love... I make cleaning baking, being around positive ppl who bring out the good in me... Making sure my son knows hes loved each day & positive reinforcement... I always look & ask questions of other parents on how they do things knowledge is power & especially when im a single mom raising a son... Lol as he gets older I have to teach him how to be a man, & that may be hard to do seeing how im a

This was great! :)
