The Cold Jungle

My favorite forest of all time is the Ho National Rainforest on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State.  They nearly had to drag me out from under the roots of a giant Douglas fir the first time I visited at age nine.  I fully intend to revert to feral and disappear into the trees one fine day, never to be heard from again.
