Nature Is My Best Friend.

Living in one of the largest metropolises in the US, I don't see a lot of nature in my daily life. But I grew up in a rural area and I loved seeing the animals, the wide open spaces. But most of all, I loved sneaking off into the woods alone and just pretending to be a part of it. I love the sound of the wind blowing through the trees, the branches creaking, the leaves rustling, the dead leaves crunching underfoot, the birds chirping, the sun breaking through and looking like in the movies where God's talking to or blessing someone, the squirrels scurrying around, occasionally catching a glimpse of a deer or, on rare occasions, actually being able to watch it without it getting scared and running off. I just love nature!!

i have cyotes and jackrabbits going through my yard. i wish i had actual trees. i would LOVE to go and wander through them. id probably get lost though. =)

Could you send me a couple bears and mountain lions? Would be fun to see how all these cityfolk react :D

hehe! we have some of those here but i have to drive at least half an hour to see them. I have had bears and mountain lions roaming through my yard in the past.

lol I walk out my front door and see a bunch of ugly buildings :P

Gosh now you remind me of why I stayed here. I walk out on my back deck and look up directly at the Blue Ridge Mountains. I am lucky for that.
