Livin It Up In Singledom

Raised with the ways of church and the dreams of Disney, I'm just now learning that there is nothing wrong with being single. My whole life I've heard 'you'll find "the one" and finally get your "happily ever after" ending.' Well, now I'm learning that "the one" isn't the key to my "happily ever after" and I'm running toward that sunset, arms wide open with ringless fingers.
Instead of finding myself in another person I'm going to find myself in life, if another person happens to show up, then we can find ourselves together, rather than in each other.
Being single is a fantastic thing and we shouldn't give it up without a fight.

You go girl! Write a book! Learn to play an instrument! Work any job you want! It's ******' great, isn't it?

I agree

This is good logic too... I WILL FIND MYSELF IN LIFE. Life has so many beautiful things to offer. Including the soulmate. ;-)

Sometimes, not always

Happily Single for 4 years....yaaay..!!!!

Way to go Joy! I'm glad you've come to terms with it & are going to make the most of it. I wish you the best.

That's a cool story and refreshing to read. Besides, the increased risk of a tree branch breaking with TWO people on it isn't really worth it ... or is it? O_o

hahahahaha!!!! I guess if it breaks then, he's not the right one. lol

haha ... yeah, either that or you've been eating too much chocolate! O_O

What are you trying to say? O_o

Well your status DOES say you'd be a millionaire if eating chocolate was a part time job ;)

So I'd weigh more due to loads of money in pocket?
