    Agreed. I find them more interesting to look at than color. Color seems to get in the way of what is really in the photograph and what the meaning is. Especially if the photograph is a person or people.

    Black and white is a medium I thoroughly enjoy and always have my eye open for a good B&W shot. It's more evocative, more sensual and by far more interesting and challenging than colour. Problem is, as a nature and wildlife photographer, my clients expect colour. Just can't win sometimes!!!

    I totally agree, it is the simplistic nature of the monochrome that adds a certain ambience and honesty to each and every shot.
